My photographic images challenge the viewers’ assumptions about their relationship with the world. Using a technique of seamless digital collage, I create imagery that is at once familiar and mysterious, enchanting and disorienting. I generate the source imagery with a digital camera and macro lens. The final digital montages oscillate between abstraction and representation as well as painting and photography.
