This hand-built concrete and mosaic pillow is a visual contrivance. Despite its rigid and hard surfaces, it brings to mind a soft and squishy pillow that is enhanced by a fringe of rusty nails. In my work, I use pattern, shape, color and humor to combine dissimilar materials to create objects of beauty.
