This piece was an idea I had been toying with for a long time, and I am very happy with the final result. Being a Delta student, I see koi fish almost every day in the quad. I decided to make a normal, yet beautiful part of my life into something fantastical. First I sketched out the figure, and then I colored it and added a background in a vector program.
