This evaporative painting is a visual record of time passed. The concentric rings are the result of weeks and months of a slowly decreasing water-line. The increasing concentration of pigments eventually reach a point of saturation releasing shimmering sediments from the inks, lining the Mylar like minerals in a Geode.
