The design objective is to create essentially two dimensional shapes that can be replicated to reveal a three dimensional chair. The chair is designed full size and the final digital art file is reduced by one-third. The chair components are laser cut from solid acrylic. After sanding, priming and painting each individual segment, each component is then hand assembled to create the final small prototype art chair.
