In this piece and several of my recent works, I have explored musical themes relating to the 60’s and 70’s. In Piano Man I wanted to capture the essence and activities surrounding the smoked filled piano bar scene. There is a disconnect between singer and musician, where the viewer is free to create their own interpretation.
