Remapped II is a small mixed-media work from a pretty substantial body of both 2d and 3d works that explore place as geographic/physical but also metaphysical concept. This particular piece integrates a fragment of an actual aerial survey photograph from ‘40s, depicting an area surrounding Detroit, which at the time was a rural periphery.
