I sought to bring a two dimensional still life study into the three dimensional realm; to inject into its static intangibility the semblance of movement and activity. The fusing of various bottles together transformed the most basic, organic counter lines and figurative shapes into a complex structure reminiscent of the passing of Time and our own human fragility within it as the bottles appear to rise, suspend, and fall all at once.
