In my practice, I am attempting to punctuate the complexity of the human drama as we age. Whisperers is about living, aging and dying. Five heads represents five decades of my life; I’m now in the second half of my fifties and I just lost my ninety year old mother last year to Alzheimer’s disease. The piece is about my own past lives haunting me as I age and how my mother still seems to be talking to me even though I can’t see her. We are all just somewhere in time, whispering. The cycle never ends.
