I’m driven by the invisible aspects of human life; the elements of a human being that are least visible and most ephemeral. My goal is to depict the transient aspect of human emotions in solid ceramic sculpture, transforming them into a permanent state. My most recent piece, Masquerade 2015, consists of two parts – clowns and real human’s faces. They reflect the human psychic condition that needs to be protected by either wearing masks and costumes or hiding their real faces in order to survive in this multicultural society.
