I am thankful for stoneware, a natural material that connects the elements of earth and fire with my own life experiences and feelings to create sculptural forms. Applications of slips, oxides, washes, glazes and reduction firing to cone 10 then further enhance a sense of stone.

When I first imagined “VOTE!” I was thinking “RUN BERNIE RUN”, but after Senator Sanders declared his candidacy for President, I was inspired by his stand for justice.  Now I want to vote.
