People often ask why we’re here but not what here is. Can you have time without a point of reference? What is death without being? Both death and time are illusions of consciousness.

Many defining factors in life remain both illusionary and personally defining. Likewise, Sculpture and life are experienced through the sensual as well as a material reality. Our faculties are both confined and defined by this juxtaposition. Beauty alone cannot represent the individual – it’s the hell and splendor that create the whole. Fundamentally, my interests and work are about the legitimacy of this reality.
