This work is part of a series of swine forms that either take shape as reliquary jars and sometimes troughs or chamber pots.
The work is a personal meditation on consumption and collection.
The work is inspired by reliquary jars from both eastern and western cultures.
Historically, reliquary jars are said to hold "the physical remains of saints, such as bones, pieces of clothing, or some object associated with saints or other religious figures."
