The presented work was built on rope attached to a wall. Using suspended rope as an armature is a process that I often employ when I make work. I enjoy the challenge of confronting gravity and my own technical limitations, through the use of such a temperamental armature. During the firing process the rope is burnt, leavening the work with a hollow cour.
