Constructed on a series of flat plaster bats, the initial framework is laid in a wet clay mixture. Once leather hard the additional framework is added. Clay is added and deleted to obtain the final form. The bisque work is treated with multiply layers of under glazes, glazes and stains that are washed off and reapplied. The piece was wood fired several times to obtain the final finish.
