This work is an homage to the Colorado Plateau, where I live. I walk among its canyons and gather rocks and photographs of the gnarled landscapes. I make molds from parts of those rocks and use those molds to form clay squares. These squares are then assembled in ways that reflect the fracturing of that landscape.
