...most recently this commentary examines the relationship between historic (American) cultural values and the current state of environmental wellbeing. Some specific issues are; water scarcity/ portioning, water pollution, and marine ecosystem alteration. For example my 'Manifest Picnicy' series implies that the attitudes/ values behind historic representations of nature are at the root of a cascading downward spiral that has led to the consumption, exploitation, and pollution of much of the American landscape.
