Despite all she is going through, she is trying her best to keep her spirit, hope and her broken and fragile body together, but for how long?

The clay figure was created during a live model session. This figure could have been dusting on the corner of a shelf with no purpose. It is the model’s specific pose and an article I read about human trafficking that inspired me to put the two together and address the plight of the victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. My hope is that this piece would add awareness to this heart wrenching subject.
