My body of work consists of various series and themes revolved around the human figure.  I explore a range of straightforward themes (heads/busts, glaze paintings,) to more conceptual themes such as the “Motion Series” and “Hegemony Series”. 

Figure #163 is part of an ongoing series of the “full” human figure. All of my work are attempts at capturing human gesture and emotion through various sculpting, mark making, and surface treatment techniques.  My work is fired multiple times, usually between 4-6 glaze firings, in order to develop a surface that attempts to showcase the unique qualities of clay and glazes.
