(Stockton, CA) Delta College's award-winning drama department is back this summer with a new production of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," June 22–25, at the Alfred H. Muller Studio Theatre.

A ship is wrecked on the rocks. Viola is washed ashore but her twin brother, Sebastian, is lost. Determined to survive on her own, she steps out to explore a new land. So begins a whirlwind of mistaken identity and unrequited love.
The nearby households of Olivia and Orsino are overrun with passion. Even Olivia's upright housekeeper, Malvolio, is swept up in the madness. Where music is the food of love, and nobody is quite what they seem, anything proves possible. . .

This is director Greg Foro's eight play for Delta Drama. "Twelfth Night has the most music of any play in Shakespeare's canon. It's often referred to as, 'Shakespeare's musical comedy.'"

Twelfth Night is recommended for ages 10 and up. Tickets: Adults – $9; Students/Seniors – $4.
