Delta College Celebrates Black History Month

Presentations take place February 1 - 24

(Stockton, CA) The Delta College Cultural Awareness Program (CAP) and African American Employees Council (AAEC) proudly announces San Joaquin Delta College's 2017 Black History Month Program, February 1 - 24. Each week will showcase special FREE events open to the public! The AAEC will also hold their popular Chicken & Waffle Scholarship Fundraiser, Thursday, Feb. 16, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in Danner Hall. “Every year the AAEC provides four $250 scholarships to continuing Delta College students of African descent,” says Delta College Financial Aid Outreach Coordinator Lisa Patton. “Providing student scholarships is central the AAEC's mission to promote education, academic achievement and success within the African American community.
