2nd Annual Health Empowerment Conference
February 27 at Delta College

(Stockton, CA) Delta College’s Career Transfer Center will partner with U.C. Davis medical students to co-host the 2nd Annual Health Empowerment Conference: Empowering Our Communities, Cultivating Health Leaders, Saturday, February 27. The conference will start at 8 a.m. in Delta’s Tillie Lewis Theater, with additional workshops and activities taking place throughout the campus till 3:30 p.m. This is a FREE event.

The conference originated with U.C. Davis medical students, and is designed for high school/community college students and their parents. The goal is to encourage underrepresented students to pursue careers in the medical field.

Topics include:

• Medical School Admissions
• Financing Medical School
• Personal Statement Workshop
• Medical Skills
• College Fair
• Free Lunch
