Delta College Hosts 4th Annual
Crime Prevention & Safety Fair
Drunk Driving Simulator at Delta's Crime Prevention & Safety Fair
(Stockton, CA) San Joaquin Delta College will host its 4th Annual Crime Prevention and Safety Fair on Wednesday, October 5, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Delta's Quad. The fair is part of the college's continuing efforts to bring personal safety to the forefront with students, staff, faculty and our public.
Valuable information regarding services available to YOU by local law enforcement agencies, county support services and the community at large will be provided. Thanks to strong partnerships with our surrounding community, we will deliver an enjoyable learning experience filled with personal safety demonstrations, tips, printed material, and career recruitment opportunities.
Fair participants include, but not limited to: Delta College District Police, SJDC P.O.S.T. Academy, Stockton Police, San Joaquin County Sheriff, Women's Center; Youth & Family Services, SJDC Bookstore, California Department of Motor Vehicles, California Highway Patrol, AMTRAK Police, Stockton Fire Department, Stockton Unified School District Police, United States Coast Guard, Stockton Public Safety Academy, and many more!
In addition to vendors, demonstrations, organizations and agencies, a FREE raffle will be held. While the 4th Annual Crime Prevention and Safety Fair will focus on District students, staff and faculty, the public is welcome! Safety is not just important on campus, it should be practiced everywhere.
