As part of Mustang Basketball's “Pack the House” event, the men’s and women’s teams will honor seven faculty/staff members this Friday, February 7, during halftime of both Delta vs. Modesto JC games. The women play at 5:30 p.m., the men at 7:30 p.m., Blanchard Gym.

Delta College faculty and staff have been nominated as part of the 1st Annual Faculty-Staff Appreciation Night. Only two-year graduating sophomores can nominate a faculty/staff member who stood out as someone who made a positive impact in their Delta education.

Four instructors will be honored at halftime of the women's 5:30 game:

Jennifer Barrows - Art - Arts and Communication Division (nominated by Karleasha Thompson)
Diane Oren - English - Languages, Library & Learning Resources Division (nominated by Nyaa Davis)
Paula Sheil - English - Languages, Library & Learning Resources Division (nominated by Keki Havetor)
Robyn Burror - Speech - Arts and Communication Division (nominated by Jennifer Keys)

Three instructors/staff will be honored at halftime of the men's 7:30 game:

Dyanne Durr - Drama - Arts and Communication Division (nominated by Kyle Porlaris & Elijah Lewis)
Angela Beyer - Early Childhood Education - Humanities, Social Science, Education, Kinesiology, and Athletics Division (nominated by Jerrel Green and Terrence Broussard)
Teresa Gutierrez- The Zone - Languages, Library & Learning Resources Division (nominated by Alex Simmons)

“Pack the House” games will be a fun night for all "packed" with activities. Watch the games with a Mustang Meal Deal - hotdog, chips and drink for $3. There will be games/prizes, dance competitions, half-court shots, races, free T-shirts when Delta hits 3-pointers, and more!

This event thanks all Delta College instructors, staff members, and administrators who make the college a great educational institution. “Pack the House” in support of Mustangs Basketball and our honored faculty/staff this Friday, February 7!
