The Pacific Mambo Orchestra (PMO) will cap off Delta’s annual "50 Jazz Band" Jazz Festival, Saturday, December 6, 8 p.m. in Atherton Auditorium. PMO won the 2014 Grammy for "Best Tropical Latin Album.” This dynamic 19 piece Latin Big Band from San Francisco plays Salsa, Mambo, Latin Jazz, and Cha Cha. Delta’s amazing December 6th daylong Jazz Festival will feature 50 Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz Ensembles from throughout the Western U.S. YES, that's correct, 50 BANDS from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in three Delta College performance venues: Atherton Auditorium, Tillie Lewis Theater, and Muller Studio Theater.
