Expired Medication Safe Disposal Event, Saturday Sept. 27

Be responsible! Be safe! Turn in your unused or expired medications for safe disposal. Delta College's District Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will host a FREE "Drug Take-Back Day" Expired Medication Safe Disposal Event, Saturday, Sept., 27, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the DeRicco Building’s C-1 lot.

This program prevents pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and anonymous; drive-up and drop-off, no questions asked.

After September 27, new disposal policies will provide for convenient, ongoing disposal opportunities for patients’ unwanted pharmaceuticals. The public can find continuing nearby collection sites and more information about the new program by visiting: www.dea.gov.
