                          CASH FOR COLLEGE WORKSHOP 2014
                         Apply for Financial Aid for 2014-2015

 

                    

 

When:  Wednesday, February 19, 2014
Time:  1:00 pm-7:00 pm (walk-ins welcome)
Location:  San Joaquin Delta College, DeRicco Student Services Building

Room:  e-Services Lab Room 149

The Cash for College Workshop will give students and their families an opportunity to receive assistance in completing the Financial Aid online FAFSA (www.fafsa.gov) for 2014-15 OR the CA Dream Act Application (www.caldreamact.org) for 2014-2015.  

Delta's Financial Aid Staff will be on site to provide one-on-one assistance and answer questions.

This event is open to the public and there will be a $1,000 scholarship awarded to one High School Senior who attends this event to complete his/her FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application and submits a GPA verification by the Cal Grant Deadline of March 2. 

 

Checklist of What to Bring:

 

If the student/parent doesn't have every one of these documents it’s okay, please have them come to the workshop with the documents that they do have from the following:

• Driver's license
• Social Security Card or Number (if applicable)
• Alien registration number, if you are not a U.S. citizen
• Student 2013 income information
• Parent 2013 income information (if dependent)
• Student taxes and parents' tax information; previous year taxes are okay if they don't have 2013 tax information
• Any records of untaxed income such as welfare benefits, social security benefits, or child support payments
