"Spring Culinary Mixer" Fund-Raising Event - April 17
The San Joaquin Delta College Culinary Arts program presents the first annual Spring Culinary Mixer. This delicious inaugural event will be held at the Delta College Campus in Danner Hall,
April 17, 6 - 8:30 p.m.
The Spring Culinary Mixer is a semester project for students of Delta's Culinary Arts Restaurant Operations and Baking & Pastry classes. These courses work in conjunction each semester to operate the campus restaurant “Student Chef” and “Artisan Bakery”. In order to provide Delta students with experiences outside of the restaurant and bakery operation, each semester a “special event" is created. These culinary presentations allow students to create, plan, promote, decorate, serve and execute a large scale banquet function. The Spring Culinary Mixer is similar to our Winter Buffet held each December, featuring interactive cooking stations.
Those who attend the Mixer will have the opportunity to enjoy savory and sweet culinary creations by Delta student chefs. Teams will design and decorate their own stations, creating distinctive appetizers for you to enjoy. Local wines will be available for tasting, paired aptly
with station culinary presentations.
Don’t miss this delectable event, where you can sip, snack and support the Culinary Arts Program of San Joaquin Delta College. Tickets are $65.
