WorkNet Job Fair at San Joaquin Delta College, May 18

Delta College will host its annual San Joaquin WorkNet Job Fair at Danner Hall on Wed., May 18, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. WorkNet invites job seekers to bring their resumes. Don’t forget to, “Dress to impress!” Employers representing over 20 diverse businesses will attend, including: health care, service industries, retail and technical trades.
Need some job hunting advice? Bring your resume! The San Joaquin Human Resource Association will critique your resume and conduct mock job interviews. Laura Ochoa-Sanchez, Delta’s CalWORKs Project Coordinator, says, “When competing for a job in this tough job market, these tips and pointers will prove invaluable.”
The goal of Job Fair 2011 is to give both Delta College students and the public the opportunity to “meet and connect” with valley employers. Ochoa-Sanchez adds, “Attendees will have the opportunity to turn in applications, ask questions and get a sense of the types skills needed to secure the jobs of the future.”
