Delta college debated Moorpark College's top team, both of whom were in the top three speakers in the tournament, for the gold medal in which we defeated them on a 2-1 decision.
Assistant Coach Terry Peterson also commented, "I am very impressed with the outstanding results from the national championship tournament. Our students are extremely talented speakers and they have combined their extraordinary talent with hard work and dedication to accomplish national recognition in forensics competition at the highest level. They have proven that Delta college students can compete with the best in the nation."
