Delta College Scholarship Applications for
2008-09 Now Available!
San Joaquin Delta College scholarship applications for the 2008-09 school year are now available at finaid.deltacollege.edu. The deadline for applications is March 3rd, 5pm, at the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Services, Goleman 125.
The Financial Aid office would like to remind applicants to make sure that all support documents, including essays and letters of recommendation are ready before turning in the required forms.
Last year, Delta College awarded over $282,000 in scholarships. Awards range from $100 to $2,000. There are over 150 scholarships advertised for the 2008-09 school year. Students can apply for up to 10 scholarships.
The San Joaquin Delta College Scholarships program first started in 1980, when $43,000 was awarded. During the past 28 years, Delta’s Scholarships Program has awarded over $4-Million to its students.
