Delta College Drama presents: A Midsummer Night’s Dream Opening Feb. 28 (Stockton) San Joaquin Delta College’s Drama Department presents William Shakespeare’s comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Opening night is Friday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre. Additional performances are on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m., Thursday thru Saturday, Mar. 5, 6, & 7, at 8 p.m. The matinee is Sunday, Mar. 8, at 2 p.m. Directed by Harvey Jordan, this production of Shakespeare’s delightful comic classic transports us to a university campus in the early 1960’s. Frat rock, psychedelic sitar, and 60’s pop tunes set a magical tone for this dizzying romp in the woods. Will Shakespeare takes on Dobie Gillis, Animal House, and Woodstock. Do you believe in magic? Prices are $12.00 for adults and $10 for Students & Seniors. Seating is unreserved for these performances. The Delta Center for the Arts box office is open Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and two hours before performances. Call for tickets and more information at: (209) 954-5113. Tickets are also available on-line at: dca.deltacollege.edu. For more information, please contact Harvey Jordan at: (209) 954-5452 or hjordan@deltacollege.edu. ###
