Delta College Presents Jazz Ensembles Concert on Oct. 9th

Delta College presents its annual fall Jazz Concert on Thursday, Oct. 9, 7:30 p.m. at Atherton Auditorium. Directed by Brian Kendrick, the concert features the award winning SJDC Jazz Ensemble, and equally outstanding SJDC Monday Night Jazz Band.

Jazz and music enthusiasts always look forward to Delta’s exciting jazz concerts.

This performance will feature the big band jazz compositions of Chick Corea, Mongo Santamaria, Bob Brookmeyer, George Gershwin, Eliane Elias and John LaBarbera.

“Delta’s jazz and band concerts are always a great night out for the family,” says Delta College jazz band instructor and director, Brian Kendrick. “It’s always a fun evening with great music. Delta's jazz bands are awesome! Don’t miss it!”

Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for students and seniors (62 and over). Children 12 and under are free, but must obtain a ticket at the box office before entering the theater.
