Oct. 25th Delta College Homecoming Game Highlights DeRicco Field Rededication

The Delta College Mustangs will play their homecoming football game Oct. 25th at 1 p.m. vs. Reedley College at the newly renovated DeRicco Field. The festivities will kick-off at 10 a.m. with live music by local band FACTOR, free BBQ hotdogs, hamburgers and prizes.

Also featured will be the DeRicco Field rededication ceremony at halftime. Lawrence A. DeRicco, past superintendent/president of Delta College, and long considered one of its founding fathers, will be in attendance to cut the ribbon.

The DeRicco Field rededication will highlight newly completed Measure L Bond renovations, which include a new “Field Turf” playing surface, and world class “Mondo SX” track. Delta College is the first college in California to have the advanced “Mondo SX” training and competition track.

The Mustangs, who play in the Valley Conference, ranked as high as 9th in California this season.  The team is having another successful season under eight-year head coach Gary Barlow. Barlow always looks forward to homecoming games. “We’ve got an excellent team, a fantastic new state-of-the-art playing surface, and look forward to a great game against Reedley!”

General admission is $5, seniors and students, $4. Children 6 and under…FREE!
