Delta College Social Science department presents a

Constitution/Citizenship Symposium: “Democracy under Pressure.”

(Stockton, CA)

Delta College's Social Science Department presents a Constitution/Citizenship Symposium. This event is free to the public and will take place on Sept. 17th at Delta's Tillie Lewis Theater from 11:00am-2:30pm.

The general topic for the symposium is, “Democracy under Pressure.” The symposium will be broken into two parts, with each presenting a guest speaker. The first featured speaker will be Dr. Manuela Paredes-Walsborn, author of "The American Dream," a book on citizenship preparation (11:00am-12:30pm).

The next speaker will be law professor David Wellenbrock. Mr. Wellenbrock will give a presentation on “Liberty, Federalism and Separation of Powers,"

(1pm-2:30pm).
