DELTA COLLEGE COMMUNICATION STUDIES DEPARTMENT PRESENTS “SPEECH NIGHT” AT ATHERTON AUDITORIUM

San Joaquin Delta College’s Communication Studies Department will host “Speech Night” on Tuesday, October 2nd at 7pm in Atherton Auditorium. An eclectic slate of State and Community leaders will highlight the presentation:
*Mary Wiberg, Executive Director of the Commission on the Status of Women.
*Jennifer Baker, Chief Analyst for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System.
*Martin “Pork Chop” King, Comedian, Stockton Ports Announcer and KWIN DJ.
*BreAnda Northcutt, Deputy Director of Communications for California’s EPA.
Speech instructor JoAnn Cataldo says the event is meant to show the public and students the art of effective communication. “With the theme of ‘Practicing Effective Communication,’ our speakers will highlight how having solid communication skills has helped and enhanced their careers.”
Included in the event will be give-aways such as lunch/dinners, a haircut, KWIN logo items, a tennis lesson and more. Cataldo promises an entertaining evening for all.
