THE DELTACOLLEGE ART CLUB SPONSORS ITS ANNUAL HOLIDAY ART SALE

The Delta College Art Club will sponsor its traditional Holiday Art Sale Dec. 6th from 5:30pm to 9pm, and Dec. 7th from 8:30am to 1pm in Shima 138.
The Art Club (Alpha Rho Tau) has been a fixture at Delta College for over 40 years. The annual holiday art sale is part of that legacy. Talented Delta College art students will offer a wide range of items, including jewelry, photos, prints, paintings, functional and non-functional ceramics and more.
Delta College art instructor and club advisor Joe Mariscal says the student sale is the prime source of funding for art club activities. “We use these sales for field trips, guest speakers and scholarships. 20% of all sales go to the club; the other 80% of sales go to Delta’s budding artists.” Mariscal encourages the public to drop by and support local art education and student artists. “Our sale is a great place to do some of your holiday shopping. We have excellent young artists and superb pieces of art at amazing prices. Don’t miss it.”
