SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE OFFERS BUSINESS SEMINARS FOR MANAGERS & STAFF
(Stockton, CA)
The San Joaquin Delta College Business Division will offer a series of one and two day business workshops geared toward manager/employee training. The workshops will be offered on Fridays starting October 5th, and run through December 7th.
The workshops will be taught by 3 Delta College business faculty members. Dean Danielson, Roger Waller and Martha Villarreal have over 65 years of teaching experience between them. Each has worked extensively in public and private industry, in addition to being past recipients of Delta’s Distinguished Faculty Award.
The targeted training topics include Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Time Management and more. Seminar faculty member Roger Waller says the training will help your organization grow. “One of our goals is to provide affordable, day-long training programs that allow employers to send their staff to Delta College for quality, focused training. Our emphasis is on teaching usable, relevant skills that employees can take back to their workplace immediately.”
Instructor Martha Villarreal says the series is structured for the novice manger and old pro. “We’re offering quality business courses geared toward our local industry and business community. We want to train good employees to become future leaders. In addition, the employee can earn college credit!”
Seminar instructor Dean Danielson emphasizes what a great opportunity these seminars are for local businesses. “It’s a great deal! A management series like this would usually cost hundreds of dollars. A one day seminar will cost $10 per attendee and two days only $20.”
