DELTA COLLEGE STUDENT ACTIVITIES DEPT. HOSTS THE ANNUAL FALL BLOOD & BONE MARROW DRIVE

The Delta College Student Activities Department invites the public to join them at the annual Fall Blood & Bone Marrow Drive. This year’s drive will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 31st from 9am-3pm at Delta College’s Danner Hall.
Delta College Student Activities coordinated this event with the local Delta Blood Bank. Donors will receive FREE t-shirts courtesy of the Blood Bank (while supplies last).
Delta College Student Body President Daniel Luna says a $300 Scholarship will be awarded to the Delta College Club with the most participants. Luna adds, “Our job as a Community College is to help the community. We can use our resources for worthwhile events like this to give back to the public. Come on down and give the gift of life!”
The Delta Blood Bank requires that donors be in good general health, at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Donors may be 16 years old, but must have parental consent and weigh 115 pounds. Don’t skip meals, and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating! Donors must have a valid photo ID with date of birth.
