Delta College Awards $18,000 In Academic Scholarships

 

(Stockton, CA) – San Joaquin Delta College awarded academic scholarships totaling $18,000 to outstanding local High School and Delta College students May 18, 2006.

Trustee Anthony Bugarin, President of the San Joaquin Delta College Academic Scholarship Council, and Dr. Raul Rodriguez, San Joaquin Delta College Superintendent/President had words of praise and encouragement for the students.  Bugarin and Dr. Charles Jennings, San Joaquin Delta College Dean of General Education and Transfer and Executive Secretary of the San Joaquin Delta College Academic Scholarship Council, presented the awards to thirty-four students.
