College Night 2005:
Learn More About Going to College
(Stockton, CA) – You’ve thought about going to college, but you’re not sure how to begin. Should you apply to a UC, a CSU or start at a community college? You have guessed at the answer. Still, you’re just not sure. San Joaquin Delta College invites you to attend College Night, Oct. 18, starting at 6:30 in Danner Hall, located at the main campus in Stockton at 5151 Pacific Ave.
Representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities will be at Delta College to answer those questions about how to get into their programs. This program is specifically designed with high school students, returning students, their parents and families in mind. College Night is a time to learn about going to college and how to get the most out of the college experience.
There’s even a special early bird session at 5:30 p.m., in the Mustang Room in Danner Hall, where Delta College representatives will give you information on the Delta Advantage. In this session, you will learn how to begin at Delta, transfer as a junior and graduate from the university of your choice.
College Night is sponsored by the Delta College Career Transfer Center, Extended Opportunities Program and Services, and the Guidance and Counseling department. For more information about College Night, contact the Career Transfer Center at 954-5634 or www.DELTACOLLEGE.edu.
