Everyone Wants to Know:
What’s Cookin’ at Delta?
(Stockton, CA) – Now, here’s your chance. Monday, December 12, in Delta College’s Danner Hall, sumptuous treats await all those who are looking for tasty goodies. The sampling of recipes from a cookbook quite appropriately named What’s Cookin’ at Delta begins at 11 a.m. and continues until all the goodies are gone – or 1 p.m.
Catherine Mooney, Director of Admissions and Records for the college, and many other Delta College employees, students and family members have rounded up recipes from all over to create the new cookbook in the latest effort to raise money for Hurricane Katrina survivors.
The event is open to the public. Five dollars buys entrance to the event, but for those who want to try out the recipes at home, $15 allows you to sample all the goodies and purchase the cookbook. For those who can’t fit the sampling into their schedule, but would like to support this worthy cause, cookbooks can be ordered online at: www.DELTACOLLEGE.edu. Just click on What’s Cookin’ at Delta to find and fill out the order form.
Media representatives are invited and encouraged to attend the sampling. Please identify yourself to the event coordinators upon arrival (we’ll let you sample for free).
