Delta, Kamilos Agree to Move Forward in Mountainhouse
(Stockton,CA) – Dr. Raul Rodriguez, Superintendent and President of San Joaquin Delta College, and Developer Gerry Kamilos signed an agreement that cements their partnership in building a Delta center in Mountainhouse late Friday evening, Nov. 4, 2005.
“This has been a long process to get to this point,” Rodriguez said. “It’s one step closer to actually building a campus in the south county.”
The next step for Delta and Gerry N. Kamilos, LLC is to gain approval of the Specific Plan III (SP III) by the Board of County Supervisors which is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m. Janet Rivera, President of the San Joaquin Delta College Board of Trustees, said she has requested that all trustees attend the board meeting Tuesday. The agreement signed by Kamilos and Rodriguez will not be finalized until the County Board of Supervisors vote on Specific Plan III.
