RAD 040A - Radiographic Laboratory - Units 9

Prerequisites: RAD-030B, Advanced Senior Clinical Laboratory, with a grade of "C" or better.

Limitations on Enrollment: Admission to the Radiological Technology Program.

This course is designed to continue the practical training in radiographic procedures under general supervision with emphasis on perfecting all radiologic examination techniques. Further exposure to angiographic procedures and specialized fluoroscopic examinations is included as well as rotations through computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
