ENG 044D - Creative Writing: Play and Screen Writing - Units 3

Prerequisite Skills: 1. Composition Level III.

Advisories: ENG-079 with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is offered to the student seriously interested in writing stage plays and/or screenplays. Emphasis is placed on the study of the craft of writing for the stage or screen; the artistry employed by successful, established, published authors; and constructive group criticism of manuscripts submitted for the course. Emphasis is on plot, character, dialogue, and format. (CSU)
