DANCE 037C - Intermediate West African Dance III - Units 2

Prerequisites: DANCE-037B West African Dance II with a grade of "C" or better.

This course is a study of intermediate West African dance techniques. Creative dances are practiced with the express purpose of establishing individual and group choreographies for public performances. Emphasis is placed on styles. African dance influences within the diaspora will be explored. (CSU)
