AUTOMECH096A - Fuel Management and Computer Controls - Units 6

Prerequisites: AUTOMECH-073, Basic Engine Performance and Electrical Systems, with a grade of "C" or better.

Corequisites: AUTOMECH-073, Basic Engine Performance and Electrical Systems.

This course is designed to prepare the student to troubleshoot and diagnose automotive fuel-injection systems, engine computer systems, emission systems, and some carburetion systems. The student completing the requirements of AUTOMECH 096A, Ignition Systems and Electronic Engine Controls, and AUTOMECH 096B, Fuel Management and Computer Controls, is eligible to test to receive certification for the approved Clean Air Car course from the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair.
