The Youth Empowerment Strategies for Success (YESS) Program empowers current and former foster youth to successfully transition into self-sufficiency and adulthood. YESS empowers youth by providing access to campus and community resources and services, and addressing the specific concerns foster youth face on their path to independence.

Current and former foster youth 16-21 years of age, who are enrolled in San Joaquin County Human Services Agency's Independent Living Program (ILP) are eligible to attend YESS training modules.
